AIR4 was created in 2018, funded by the Federal Government (Defence, Science and Technology Group and RAAF). It is also sponsored by RMIT University, DSI and a number of industry partners.
The mission of AIR4 is to inspire a New Generation of students to envisage a future with Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), being an essential part of their everyday lifestyle.
AIR4 is a program to inspire our youth to investigate STEM through their entire education journey.
AIR4 Life is the first in a series of exciting events which will inspire girls aged 10-16, set up a dialogue with them so we can learn ways to reduce the ‘gender gap’ in STEM studies, and to improve the education performance of girls.
A lucky group of Year 8 and 9 students attended this event on the 22nd November. Their experience was amazing, take a look at the pictures.
