Earlier this week the Environmental Science class with the help of Year 8 student Zahleigh, began the first stage of developing a large herb garden. This will be for the Food Technology classes to use. So far, the site has had vegetation removed and the soil enriched with compost and manure. Planting will begin soon, including two varieties of Mint and Parsley, Oregano, Thyme, Nasturtiums, and Rosemary. A Curry Tree and Bay Tree were also planted. In the pipeline we have plans for more herbs and the planning of a Citrus Orchard. Spring is coming! 🌿🍀🍃🌼
Stay tuned for updates.
