VCAL students running TRUGO clinic at Pakenham Show

Teacher Laura Henderson together with VCAL students will be running a TRUGO clinic at the Pakenham show this Saturday in conjunction with the Victorian Trugo Association. Trugo is a ‘true blue aussie game’ played on a grass court by hitting rubber rings with a wooden mallet from one end of the green to goal posts at the other. Chess players practising over lunch

Regional chess tournament is back

Following the success in 2015 by the school’s chess team, Pakenham Secondary College is proud to host the upcoming regional chess tournament on Friday 18th March 2016. The dedicated team use their lunch breaks to practice and coach new players, under the supervision of school chess coaches and classroom teachers Sergio de Lima and Christian Ampongan.
