French Day at PSC
There is a lot of French ‘joie de vivre’ in the air at present with Bastille Day festivities and the Tour de France 2019 well in progress and televised on SBS!
In our wonderful intercultural community and to celebrate the achievements of our emerging Francophone community in Pakenham, our Years 7 students, along with the Years 8 and 9 French elective class students, will take part in an inspiring range of French theatrical and drama presentations/workshops, cooking sessions along with various language and cultural activities on Monday 22nd July!
Our wonderful Breton crepe maker Marion, will return to our College green courtyard to sell her delicious sweet crepes at her pop-up French creperie. Marion will be selling her Breton crepes on the Year 7 green courtyard area at recess up until lunchtime. Students and staff will see the crepe menus displayed around the College up until next Monday to plan their purchases for the day.
Don’t forget to practice how to order your crepes in French, your supportive French teachers, Madame Kielnhofer and Monsieur De Lima, are ready to assist you this week if you need some help with cue cards!
