PASSION PROJECT - PACT CLASS
This term our PACT students produced a 'Passion Project'. Each student was able to choose something that they were passionate about, such as a product, artwork, creative writing and many other excellent projects, culminating in an exhibition to invited guests.
The exhibition took place on Thursday, 21st November, and the visitors to our school, along with our Principal Team, were blown away by the hard work and creativity that the students displayed in their projects. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them.

Year 7 Students Receive Distinction Award in Statewide Mathematics
Talent Quest
Congratulations to Dante Trott, Seth Savage and Logan Laycock from 7.1 for receiving a Distinction Award in the Statewide Maths Talent Quest Competition.
Their project, "How much will it cost to build and run an Air BnB?" was well thought out and produced to an extremely high standard.
First held in 1982, the Maths Talent Quest is an annual activity open to all primary and secondary students. Students select their own investigation topic based on their personal learning interests and apply mathematics in context. They understand and discover how mathematics is used and found in the world around them, providing a positive experience that reduces the barriers to learning in mathematics and often reduces student maths anxiety.
TESTIMONIALS
"Our daughter is now in her final year (12) and we have the highest respect and thanks for the amazing teachers & leaders of this school.
We are confident without their open minded approach to learning, caring and ensuring they give every student a chance at becoming the best version of themselves, then she would be in a far different situation than she is now.
Her learning, and schooling life changed for the very best by attending Pakenham Secondary College.
We thank you all so very much."
