“From day one, back in Year 7, up until our final days, Pakenham Secondary College presented us with every opportunity possible to allow us to follow our dreams and pursue our future careers. They equipped us with the tools and life skills we needed to face life after school. Our time there will be one that is cherished and remembered throughout our lives and the teachers and staff that put in countless hours of effort will never be forgotten.”
Abigail Nimmo and Mia Biggs, 2017 School Captains
The right way to do things
At our school, everyone has the right to enjoy an environment that is safe, supportive and inclusive.
So we expect you – and every other student – to act as responsible member of the school, showing care for the welfare of other people and their property.
You can read all about your rights and responsibilities in the student Code of Conduct. It lays out our expectations and sets down the consequences of getting things wrong. The purpose of these rules is to make sure the College can keep a workable teaching and learning environment.
And don’t forget, the College has many people to talk to if things aren’t going well. The wellbeing team includes youth workers, a chaplain, the school nurse and an educational psychologist.
The bottom line is – everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. Please play your part in continuing to have Pakenham Secondary College a happy place to learn.
