On behalf of the staff at Pakenham Secondary College, I am pleased to welcome your family into Year 7. We are looking forward to a very productive and engaging year, where the school community can work together to help your child achieve their full potential and begin their journey into becoming productive members of society.

At Pakenham Secondary College, we endeavour to guide and support the students through the many challenges and accomplishments that adolescence may bring. During the school year, we provide an enriching education, both in and out of the classroom, where students will be involved in an array of activities to enhance their academic, social and personal development.

We will endure to build upon and reinforce the SOAR values that guide us: Social and Personal Responsibility, Opportunities for All, Achieving Personal Best and Respect and Relationships. As partners in your child’s education, we share the responsibility for their success and with your continual support, positive communication and assistance in upholding the College’s expectations; we look forward to a promising, successful and enjoyable year.
