Year 9 Elective – Food Technology

Course Description:

This unit of work is designed for students to revise their understanding of the design process and its individual elements, and the importance of understanding and demonstrating excellent safety and hygiene skills. Students will learn about presentation of food and how to successfully prepare baked products. They will also learn a variety of environmental and sustainable practices in food production and how to maintain a healthy body.
