Dear Parent/Guardian

I would like to welcome you to Pakenham Secondary College.  We are a great school achieving great results for our students.

The transition from primary to secondary school can be a huge step for both students and their families. At Pakenham Secondary College, we have a fine tradition of best supporting the learning and wellbeing of students, a breadth of programs and opportunities, outstanding facilities, and a vibrant community of parents, students and teachers who are really committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for all. It is this teamwork that supports positive connections allowing for further growth and improvement in the learning and wellbeing of our students.

As a College, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional learning opportunities for our students. We support our students to demonstrate learning growth across all of their subjects and programs. We offer sport and physical education activities, performing arts and instrumental music programs, extension and enrichment initiatives, and opportunities for student leadership within our College Community.

To further support you as a family to make a smooth transition from primary to secondary school, you are invited to the PSC Principal’s Morning Tea on Friday 8 September at 10am in the Lecture Theatre. This is an opportunity for us to further welcome you to the College, together with learning more about what we have to offer your child for Year 7 and beyond. Please RSVP by Friday 1st September or contact the Front Office on 5945 1433 to register your attendance.
