Health & Physical Education

Our Health and Physical Education curriculum promotes wellbeing, resilience, and active lifestyles, helping students develop essential skills, build confidence, and gain a deeper understanding of health, fitness, and teamwork for lifelong success.

At Pakenham Secondary College, our Physical Education and Health program empowers students to enhance their own and others' health, safety, wellbeing, and physical activity in diverse and evolving contexts. The curriculum supports students in building resilience, developing a strong sense of self, and making informed decisions to promote lifelong health and wellbeing.

From Years 7 to 10, our courses align with the Victorian Curriculum and incorporate both theoretical and practical components. The program focuses on fostering positive and respectful relationships, enhancing physical activity skills, and understanding the benefits of maintaining health and wellbeing through active lifestyles.
