A Pathway For Every Pupil
We build confidence and find interests that will lead to rewarding work life.
This process begins from the moment a student starts at PSC.
Pakenham Secondary College students have many study options. The College packages its senior school curriculum around a series of programmes, rather than individual subjects. That way, students undertake a programme of study that is linked to their hopes and dreams.
The Year 11-12 Student Course Selection Handbook is a great resource with lots of useful details for senior students.
Students are supported to find their strengths and interests, explore good learning habits and develop a positive self-image to build a basis for a future pathway.
Students combine their abilities with good communication skills to focus on future life, the world of work and further study.
Purpose
The College aims for its students to achieve at least one qualification after their secondary schooling.
Support
The PSC Careers Centre is open every school day during recess and lunch for students to access staff and information.
Counselling
Year 10 and 11 students receive one-to-one course counselling sessions with our career and pathways team.
