Music at PSC

All of our students study classroom Music in Years 7 and 8 as well as being available as electives and VCE subjects in Years 9 - 12.

Students can also choose to learn an instrument in small group lessons as part of our Instrumental Music Program. There are no fees for these lessons, as they are subsidised by the school.

Lessons are available in piano, vocals, guitar, bass guitar and drums.

All lessons run for 30 minutes during the school day in the College Performing Arts rooms. Your child will need to leave their normal class to attend their instrumental lesson. As this is a school approved program, this will not impact your child's attendance data. The lessons are placed on a rotating schedule, to ensure that your child does not miss the same lesson every week.

The lessons are FREE, however, spaces are limited, so please register your child's interest by completing the below form as soon as possible.

If you are interested in your child taking part in instrumental lessons, please complete the form below.
