French Day

Thursday, 1st September is Annual French Day at Pakenham Secondary College. The day will involve a visit from a traditional French Breton crepe maker. Year 7 students will practice key language expressions learnt in the classroom and follow the appropriate cultural convention to place their crepe orders.

Throughout the day, students will also participate in a range of activity sessions designed to extend their knowledge and appreciation of the inter-relationship between language and culture. By offering opportunities to experience diverse cultures and languages, students develop a greater awareness of how our local communities are interconnected within a dynamic global society.
